A really compact and multipurpose bit of kit, great for a variety of projects. I have several of these, the latest I bought for use with BeebSCSI to emulate a HDD on my Acorn Electron and BBC B micros. When plugged into a 1MHz level shifter via the header this works perfectly and brings hard drive functionality to these old machines with a minimum of effort. They can also be used in a similar way via a Tube adapter to provide co processors to these machines enhancing them even further. Very happy with this and will be purchasing another very soon from The Pi Hut who supplied it at a great price and delivered it within a couple of days. Excellecnt product, excellent service.

The Raspberry Pi Zero arrived on time. It will be part of a small system I am developing and the build stage has not yet started. it's too early to assess how successful it will be, but I'm hopeful.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Faulty item + 2-week RMA silence; told “out of stock” after return Ordered a board that arrived with a faulty USB data port out of the box—so much for “extensively tested.” I contacted PiHut immediately and then waited over two weeks just to receive an RMA. By the time the RMA finally came through and I returned the item, support told me they were now out of stock and could only offer a refund. Result: nearly three weeks wasted, other components sat idle, and no replacement for a part that was in stock when I first reported the fault. That’s not customer care—that’s poor QA and slower-than-acceptable RMA handling. Sending automated “please review us” emails while an unresolved fault drags on is the final insult. If you need reliability and responsive support, look elsewhere.

Almost perfect or easy projects, but 512MB memory probably just isn't enough these days.
