“I was having an issue with my Pi Zero W where it would start to lag roughly every minute or so. I was using just a regular phone charging cable and had stuff plugged into the USB port. When I took the USB stuff out, it stopped lagging, so I figured the cable wasn't delivering the power I needed.
This power supply solved that issue entirely and now I can plug whatever I want into my Pi, and overclock it without any issues at all. Note that on mine, the raspberry is just an engraving and isn't black as shown in the photos.”
“No more "lightning bolt" icons appearing and no messages on the Pi about "low voltage detected", especially if you use a lot of USB peripherals then you need a 2.5A supply and this one is made for the Pi. Good bit of kit.”
“As a power supply it works just fine BUT all the extra crap that is included in the package is criminal. The unit was shipped to and ordered from a UK address, I don't therefore need the US and various European adaptor parts for plugging it in to sockets that I don't have.”
