“A great addition to the starter kit to keep your project cool under high demand. Only 2 very small niggles are. 1 - install instructions are not overly clear but looking at online photos will point you in the right direction without any issue. 2 - fan is a bit noisy, so depending on your application this could be a bit of an issue.
But all in all its a great bit of kit.”
“I WAS PROMPTED TO REVIEW THIS PURCHASE. AT LEAST I THINK I WAS - I COULDN"T HEAR CLEARLY OVER THE SOUND OF THE FAN!
It only activates above certain temperatures when configured correctly, but the volume and the pitch are just horrible to be around. I think part of the problem is the lack of airflow out of the case, and I'll likely just get a different case with passive cooling. But the only way to get a pi4 right now meant buying a kit, so I thought I'd try and get some use out of the included cases.”
“Fits in the case nicely. Works really well at keeping the Pi cool. It does make a high pitched noise which would be expected from a fan this size. However, this can be a little annoying.”
