“I'm new to Raspberry Pi. I have used this brilliant little computer for word processing with its installed office suite which it handles no bother. I have installed the latest update and the Pi OS and now it can handle video from Library and Youtube great whereas prior to the update the dropped frames were noticeable. I have also been having a play with Scratch and Python and appreciate that Raspberry Pi OS is already set up with the relevant software and the included book gives a comprehensive introduction to both Scratch and Python. I could go on but needless to say, I'm really impressed.”
“Love this Rapsberry Pi! The idea behind it is amazing and it works brilliantly. It is very easy to use and very fast.
The SD card comes pre loaded with the Raspberry Pi OS and was working very quickly after start up (just a few expected set up things such as name, password, etc).
The included power cable, HDMI cable and mouse work just fine too and add a nice touch with the RPi logo on them.
The beginner guide that comes in the box is also great and easy to follow. If you have never used the Rapsberry Pi OS before it tells you everything you need to know to get started and set up your brand new computer.
The only problem I have is sometimes the GPIO pins are hard to access being on the back but this is completely understandable and with a ribbon cable they can be moved to the side.
Overall I would definitely recommend this product and would say it is well worth the money.”
“Great bit of kit. Very fast. Installed RVM, NVM, goenv, phpenv and pyenv to enable me to develop. Docker and docker-compose also work. Dual screens (1080p) without breaking a sweat. Runs vscode all the things I've tried so far. Really impressive, came fast. Thoroughly recommend.”
“I ordered a Pi 400 Kit soon after its launch, in early November 2020. Pi Hut had it in my hands 2 days later, in perfect working order. A very neat kit with only a suitable display required. Installed and running in 30 minutes. Drives a 28inch UHD monitor at max resolution perfectly - impressed. Having the whole system bundled into the keyboard is perfect for a system that needs a user interface, as mine does.
The Pi 400 has a built-in heatsink which also deals very effectively with the overheating problem that occurred on the Pi 4.
The one negative is the built-in WiFi subsystem. The performance of this at first was very poor - I had to upgrade the driver code to get acceptable performance. Supposedly this upgrade will get bundled into the next version of Raspbian, but it ain't the default at the moment. You can read about this update on the Pi forums.”
“The computer is awesome, and I went right back to the late 80, early 90 with Amiga/Commodore emulation etc. works super! The deliverytime wasn´t good though, 3 weeks from UK to Sweden, but it is probably covid issues???

“I was very pleased with my order and everything worked as it should.
The only thing that went wrong was the user (me) when I accidently
did something which caused the system to crash and burn.
I tried to get an debian ISO to re-install it and it started again. Great.
It did work but it was different to the original.
I have now installed an Ubuntu 20.10 ISO and it works fine.

The Raspberry pi 400 will suit most people. If you use your TV as a
monitor you might find the desktop is to big which most you might
be able to correct on your TV by altering the overscan.
My old TV has no way of doing this so I had to buy a new Monitor.
Shame there is no way to alter the overscan via the Pi 400.
