“The computer is awesome, and I went right back to the late 80, early 90 with Amiga/Commodore emulation etc. works super! The deliverytime wasn´t good though, 3 weeks from UK to Sweden, but it is probably covid issues???
Thanks, Andreas”
“What a fantastic piece of kit, compact and neat sitting on my desk. The Rapsberry Pi 400 is easily powerful enough to be my day-to-day computer.
Great service from the PiHut, fast and efficient and very helpful.”
“I was very pleased with my order and everything worked as it should.
The only thing that went wrong was the user (me) when I accidently
did something which caused the system to crash and burn.
I tried to get an debian ISO to re-install it and it started again. Great.
It did work but it was different to the original.
I have now installed an Ubuntu 20.10 ISO and it works fine.
Many thanks to your support staff for helping me.
The Raspberry pi 400 will suit most people. If you use your TV as a
monitor you might find the desktop is to big which most you might
be able to correct on your TV by altering the overscan.
My old TV has no way of doing this so I had to buy a new Monitor.
Shame there is no way to alter the overscan via the Pi 400.
Good luck; this is a very nice ready to go system.”
“Bought as a temporary desktop replacement for basic internet browsing, emails, iPlayer, some minor document editing etc. It was up and running in no time, and whilst not fast for this role, it is perfectly adequate.
When I get the time, I look forward to having a look at some of the other features like Python. The manual is entry level, but very well written, so pretty much anyone, from young kids upwards should have no problem getting going.
Delivery was excellent.”
“Brilliant, Plugged it all together and it more or less set itself up. Lots of updates queued up and installed themselves [time for a brew] and it was off and running. Signed in to Chromium and I am set. I've just retired my Windows 7 PC, but I couldn't face Windows 10 and its constant problematic updates, or Apples "Fleece 'em for every penny they've got" business plan.
Was wrestling with a Linux install when I spotted this online so now I'm a Pi-man !
Small gripes...Separate Sound output and an on/off switch would be nice”
