“The kit came quickly and was easy to set up and begin to operate. If there was an explanation of the accompanying microSD adapter, I missed it and it took me some time to work out that it was not an additional SD card.
I have started going through the learning exercises in the Beginner's Guide. But there are a large number of inconsistencies between what is written in the Guide and what appears on the software. An early example is in 'shutting down'. The Guide says click on 'Shutdown' but what appears under the raspberry icon is 'Logout'. If you click on that then you do get the shutdown options menu. But it is clear from the Guide that shutdown and logout are two separate processes so it is more than a little confusing to have to click on 'Logout' in order to be able to shutdown.
That is only the first of quite a number of incosistencies between the Guide and the software. Someone should go through this and make the necessary adjustments.”
