“Whilst there is nothing wrong with the case in itself, but putting a Raspberry Pi 4 in it is a bad move. The Pi 4 operates at high temperatures and this case adds to the problem by completely enclosing the Pi. Not good news. In reality the Pi 4 needs a case with a fan to actively cool it getting the CPU temperature down. Whilst the design of this case was OK for previous Pi models I cannot recommend this case for the Pi 4.”
“The RP4B heats up in this casing. Whereas you'd see (CPU) temperatures just above 60°C in idle (GUI at 2% proc load) when the case is open, they easily and quickly (less than 30 minutes) raise 15°C higher (again in idle) just when putting the cover on. The heat is trapped in the case and it takes a long time to cool down after some activity. It's a nice case, everything fits snuggly. I'd buy again, despite the heat trapping design.”
“Someone was lazy designing this and just updated the pi3 version. Pi 4 runs MUCH hotter and enclosed in this case runs too hot if it's doing any work. Needs at least a few holes/slots for ventilation/heat escape”
