“This case is robust and well designed in every other way except for heat management. The total lack of ventilation holes makes it unusable without some modification. I ended up cutting a square hole in the lid above the CPU and mounting a heat sink protruding through the lid there.”
“Nice case but there are two issues; the case doesn’t latch securely and can easily open unexpectedly, and there is no provision for a fan, which the 4B needs for some uses.”
“Whilst there is nothing wrong with the case in itself, but putting a Raspberry Pi 4 in it is a bad move. The Pi 4 operates at high temperatures and this case adds to the problem by completely enclosing the Pi. Not good news. In reality the Pi 4 needs a case with a fan to actively cool it getting the CPU temperature down. Whilst the design of this case was OK for previous Pi models I cannot recommend this case for the Pi 4.”
