“The raspberry pi was shipped in a protective cardboard box and arrived quickly. However the Raspberry Pi board has flux remaining at the bottom and one of the USB 3.0 ports has a bad solder joint with too much solder.”
“Running this with an Allo DigiOne with Volumio on with 400GB internal storage as a music server. Brilliant, and took maybe 60 minutes to get up and running! (Took longer than that to copy my music across onto the internal SD card storage - note: do this over a wired network, not wireless!)
Does run hot though, looking to rehouse in a larger, more aesthetically pleasing case, with a near silent fan to keep airflow. In the current case the internals hit 62C, which is OK, but I'd like to keep it lower.”
