“I needed to upgrade a Home Assistant setup based on a Pi 3B to a newer system that could boot off an external NVME drive. The 4B has the boot capability and two USB3 ports that are much faster than the 3B's USB As. I have had Home Assistant up and running happily for a few weeks now and doing more, with no recurrence of the problems I ran into with the 3B. At least. not yet... fingers crossed!”
