“Bought this to use for backing up photos to USB sticks from sd cards when travelling. Much faster than my old 3a. I also bought the official case and the cooling fan kit for the case which included a heat sink for the CPU. Having fitted the heat sink I found I didn't need the fan as the CPU remained below 60 degrees at all times in this application.”

“The project is to construct a high performance cluster to focus on Python in a cluster to explore data base analysis. I was already using a Raspberry Pi 4 8 GB and The PiHut were able to supply 2 Raspberry Pi 4 2GB to join the cluster. This computer is a great fit for clustering with its high speed network , 4 cpu cores and sufficient memory to buffer results and run independent portions of the program in parallel across each of the 3 computers. Now for the hard work. ;-)”

“A friend bought me one for Christmas, and it reinvigorated my interest in "under the hood" IT. So after crashing the original several times I thought it would be best to get my own for training purposes. Spoiled for choice on the store, and I was poking around with it in next to no time. This could keep me happy during the next Covid outbreak.”
