“It's not often that a manufacturer's option for something like a case beats the competition, but this one does. The inclusion of three different tops really is a brilliant solution and they all do their job perfectly (especially the camera which works really well). Only issue might be the standard bottom which has a cut out for the GPIO when I imagine most Pi zeros won't have one in stalled, and the fact the SD card is not accessible, however it's very easy to pop open the case and take the Zero out.”
“Bought the new Pi Zero W for its WiFi capabilities - stuck a camera module in the official case with the camera mount option and bob's your uncle - a tiny IP camera for a start but with loads more potential.”
“Very affordable and flexible. I have used the camera top and it works with the included cable perfectly. The result is a tiny case with camera or without if you choose.
The ports all line up once you have correctly inserted the pi. It needs a little push to get it to the bottom of the case once it is lined up correctly. Not difficult at all even when the camera is used.
And yes, the pi zero w works just as well as I hoped.”
“Quick delivery and a great product. Three kinds of lid included: one for camera mounting (RPiZero camera connector included which was a bonus), one for GPIO access and a standard cover. Looks great and well made.”
“I got this case along with the new pi zero w so that I could build a remote camera. Only to find that the 1.3 cameras do not fit this case. Couldn't find anywhere on the description that said it was incompatible but others confirmed the same issue to me.”
“Nice design, but I would prefer to be able to access micro SD card. Also HDMI to mini HDMI adapter would not stay plugged in due to distance between Pi zero and case periphery.”
