“A very affordable (cheap) single board computer. I have a few of them. It even has HDMI out. The SD card you use will probably be more expensive then this SBC. I used this one for gaming with RetroPie, but I have another one that I use as an add blocker with Pi-hole.”
“Excellent, does the job. Need to bear in mind that the Pi Zero in use with a VGA monitor will need a USB powered adaptor as the mini hdmi on the Pi Zero doesn't put out enough power for an unpowered adaptor.”
“When the Zero was delivered the USB port didn't work which was disappointing after a long wait.
However, the PiHut provided an RMA number and within a week it was resolved free of charge.
The Zero has a very good WiFi it turns out, so currently I am using it with the Raspi camera to watch a bird feeding station. Early days yet, but so far so good!”
