“Very easy to configure. I bought the version with soldered header (as my soldering skills are slightly lacking!). Arrived promptly, and well-packaged. Pair with a case to protect it and you're away!”
“It has the right PCB size to fit many innovative projects, components only populated on one side (sits flush on surfaces), just enough processing power for most suited tasks with good power comsumption.
It is a good balance and even allows some battery powered projects.
I only wish I could order more than one. ;-)”
“These are very capable little boards. I'm using one to learn ARM assembler using stretch-lite (command line) connecting to it over ssh. My aim is to control peripheral devices using GPIO. Set up was very easy following the instructions on the Rpi web site.
It doesn't work very well as a low cost RP 3B with full fat stretch GUI (a bit slow) but it's small footprint, low power consumption and low cost make it an excellent choice for control operations over WiFI.”
“The price of the Zero was very good but charging £2.99 for postage was excessive if i had bought the case or GPIO port soldered on then maybe normal postage would have done shame on you PiHut”
