“So pleased to have received my 2 Pi5 Starter Kits for the New Year as I've got a few interesting projects in mind. 1 will be dedicated to a HAM Radio Digipeater and the other will be upgrading my pi400 PiStar Hotspot, for Worldwide DMR Radio Communications.
The kits came packaged great and the pi case with fan was a breeze to put together. The power supply is twice as powerful as previous models, delivering 5V @ 5A compared to 5V @ 2.5A
Both Pis are connected to the net using a dedicated cellphone connection and with tailscale installed I can ssh into both machines from anywhere and this is where I notice the speed difference most! These Pi5 computers are amazing. I might have to order a few more lol.

“I'm more than happy with my purchase & its unexpected delivery on Christmas Eve by Royal Mail. It is a massive improvement on my previous Pi3s! I purchased the Pi5 8 GB starter kit & I'm very happy with it. I intend to purchase an active cooler &the official NVME PCIE adapter when it becomes available.
I'm very much looking forward to updates to the existing Pi4 software as it is updated for the Pi5 over the coming months.
