“The time had come to upgrade from my basic 1GB RPi 4B, and an 8GB Pi 5 seemed to meet my needs. Also Irrespective of the SBC I definately needed a better power supply. So, the Pi 5 Starter Kit was clearly the best bet, and as I expected I am well pleased. Paired with a Raspberry Pi Monitor and a bluetooth keyboard with trackpad it makes a very usable desktop as well as meeting my project needs.
