“I went for the 4GB board in my kit as this was included in the Black Friday sale.
The Pi is great with the supplied high quality power supply, SD csard with NOOBS and micro-HDMI to HDMI cable making this easy to get set up.
The case is fine, although I opted for a fan shim to cool my Pi and so tend to leave the top of the supplied official case off of my Pi to ensure good cooling.”
“Economical solution for day to day computing. Quick startup and snappy performance. I have added large heatsink which keeps the temperature of the processor to a steady 50°c.
The only problem so far is that I am having difficulty connecting Bluetooth headphones.”
“This kit was a steal in the Black Friday deals, heavily discounted on what is already an absolute bargain! This kit features all you need to get a Pi project up & running, including Noobs on the MicroSD card and the all important mini HDMI-->Full size HDMI video cable, which can be hard to track down (despite it being only 1.5M). The Pi Mk4 is certainly warmer whilst running than the Mk3, so I did not use the supplied case, instead opting for the solid metal "heatsink" style (supplied separately), which are far superior with regard to passive cooling, which is pretty important for a HTPC/media streamer, as you don't really want fan noise ruining your Home theatre experience!. All-in-all; highly recommended for all proficiency levels...”
“very very happy with this item. only gets less than 5 stars because the usb3 sockets do not accept my usb3 stick. do not want to force it. at the moment disappointed”
