“Great bit of kit with everything you need to get started watching your movies. Openelec preinstalled on the SD card meant that nothing had to be done, just connect cables and plug in. The TV was conneccted with the HDMI cable provided (after initially using my own one, which was a mistake as it couldn't carry the HDMI-CEC signal). Having HDMI-CEC going with OpenElec means you can use your tv remote to control the XBMC, which is amazing. Just having one remote is good and of course means there's one less remote to lose. Had some problems connecting to my NAS but I think those are OpenElec problems. They were solved by editing sources.xml directly, which is mega easy as you can make a direct connection to the raspberry box through the network from your laptop. Overall this just makes a much, much better media centre than Apple TV. Thanks Pi Hut people.”

“Everything you need to get XBMC up and running. Connected to my Media server fine over Devolo homeplugs and was able to control it fine out of the box with a HP MCE remote, Wireless keyboard/mouse control and my Android phone! Only downside to the kit is that the PSU lead is too short at around 1M and it would be much easier to position PI if was 2M (or more :-) nonetheless a great bit of kit, almost regretting spending £300 to build a HTPC a while ago when this does most of what I need (albeit somehwat slower). Thanks PI hut!”

“Very simple to assemble kit and once hooked up to my TV and powered up it was fully functional. Can definitely recommend the addition of the FLIRC for remote control, makes things very easy and a breeze to setup.”
