“A good device but seems to run hot and the plastic box doesn't aid cooling. Would like to have seen some screws to hold the board down and better clips on the box top to stop it coming off so easily. That said, its a very powerful processor with good i/o”
“I got this kit at the start of the lockdown and already I have assembled and programmed the Zumo robot featured on ExplainingComputers.com. Starting from scratch, with no prior knowledge of Linux, Python or Raspberry Pi, I programmed the Zumo to move forward, reverse, left, right and stop using an old tv remote connected to a FLIRC usb. I have also managed to connect remotely to the Pi from my windows 10 laptop, so I don't have the hassle of connecting a keyboard and mouse to the Pi anymore. The amount of information and help on Youtube and the web is extraordinary.
The only thing that PiHut could improve with the kit is to include an on/off switch as part of the power supply. I plan to buy one as an extra the next time I'm shopping.
