“I’ve been looking for (and failing to find) a case to fit a particular project for some time now. My project involves a HAT on top of the Pi, and I particularly wanted to secure the HAT in place with pillars. This is the best of the three cases that I’ve tried so far, however:
1. I needed to drill 4 holes and insert screws through the bottom of the case, through the Pi, and into the pillars.
2. I had to cut away the end of the case above the USB ports to avoid interference with the HAT, and in doing do lost the slots to mount the optional connector cover.
3. Although there’s generally good clearance on the other sides of the HAT, in order to connect cables to the HAT (which has terminals right on the edge of the board) I needed to cut away the case above the HDMI port.”
