“This is my 3rd Modular Case, They are very good quality and durable. Well priced and I like the optional parts eg. spacers for hats, banking covers for sd card slot as well as USB if needed.”
“I originally thought I had bought the wrong case as it was difficult to get the pi to fit. There is a knack and it's easy once you put the pi in correctly. Perfect fit and brilliant look. I will buy many more of these- the best pi case I have seen ever.”
“Well put together, does what is required.
Using with a 3b+ and PoE hat V2.0 as official case wouldn't close fully.
I did pick up the a 10mm spacer and screw kit to future proof for additional hats. Half expected to need it with the PoE Hat but it was fine. I may add some air vents via a dremel...
Getting the board in was a little tricky as you have to get the memory card end in and then not be afraid to put a little pressure on the port end. Some gentle flexing of the case is required but also a little worrying when you've never done it before!
Overall very happy”
“Perfect expandable case for the Rpi. Along with the expansions, it made my project look professional and provided great protection for the additional HATs.”
“The case is good with one exception - I tried to install Waveshare SIM7600E-H hat (together with 10mm spacers) and the connectors of the hat are directly in the middle of the upper edge of the narrowed part (above the HDMI connector), so basically you cannot drill a hole for it. HighPi case looks better in this regard.”
“This is an excellent box for my requirements. I needed to be able to discourage external interference with the Raspberry PI hardware and the additional components provide just that. It would have been nice if it was more obvious that you have to buy the additional SD card plate and port covers as well, and that they do not come with the main case - it would have saved me the extra postage.”
