“I love this device! So small and with a brilliant friction fit mechanism, which makes setting up the pi, the shim and my LCD screen as compact as possible. Sound is not super loud but this is a low wattage amp and it's perfect for my bedside speaker project.”
“This works well once you get it going. I used it on a Pi Zero W. Intially I could not tell if the the lack of sound was due to config error or poor contacts on the pins (which I was warned about) . Turned out to be config as I was installing it on an existing system which had a different sound setup - all solved with a reinstall of Raspian. A great way to get sound on a Pi Zero.”
“Great audio board. 3W in 4 ohm high efficiency speaker gives enough volume for everyday listening. Easy to attach to a pi zero. Would prefer screw terminals but solid core wires work well as do soldered paper clips !”
“I love these tiny digital amps. Great for adding to a zero 2W and powering old retro speakers. They give perfectly good sound with low impedance speakers.”
“I love these little amps. Paired with a pi zero w i use them to drive 4ohm high efficiency speakers. (Usually vintage from ebay). Loud enough for easy listening. Highly recommended.
Ps moode audio is my favourite software.”
“These small amps are amazing except for the wire connections to speakers. Terrible push fit with stranded wires even when tinned. Use either single core or a soldered paper clip”
