“i watched a few videos where people were in all sorts of trouble with home made rigs ect . this was so simple to use so so simple i had a small hammer it took 6 taps and bobs your uncle . one thing to mention you need the headers that go with the rig they cost £2 but well worth it , other soldering headers dont work with hammer method . if you cant solder this is the way i am sure when you try you will stick with this way , well done the inventor .”
“The solderless jog made attaching the header outrageously simple. I couldn't have soldered it myself but it took my old header-less pi zero and made it usable with an eink display. Really easy to use.”
“Im getting old, I cant see to focus to solder with anything directly in front of me anymore and the quality of my soldering is comical. Not any more. You can use this jig to gently, and I do mean gently but firmly tap these headers into the sockets on the PI boards. A few sharp firm taps as you work side to side is all that is required with a medium sized hammer and it will locate down and give you a working GPIO header in under a minute. Any side effects? None, just work side to side to keep the same volume of pressure as you work along and take your time. It just works simply and effectively.”
“Outstanding delivery received the items spot on better than what i expected professional at its finest btw if you wonder if this working Yes it does flawlessly.”
“Had the female header. Pretty easy to install. Mildly gentle taps, while checking progress between each tap. Ensuring tapping the part that needs to go down more”
“Dead easy to use - just tap with a hammer and you're done! No more sweating over soldering. Feels secure enough for what I need. Saved me loads of hassle!”
