Lovely little bit of kit, simply designed and easily implemented.

Almost a must-have for my builds now, the SHIM and the one-line installer just work with minimal effort. I was pleasantly suprised that this worked even with DakboardOS on the Raspberry Pi, letting me add a power button to a wall-mounted dashboard. Although not officially supported, I'm using this with a Raspberry Pi 4 & official USB C power supply connected via an adapter and it's worknig perfectly.

Looks like a quality product, be aware that it will not fit the raspi flirc (metal) housing - one of the screw posts is in the way (in fact this product may only fit any pi housing which doesn't need screws or pi's which don't have any enclosure)

Super easy to install and use. Gives me a lot of confidence in using a Pi for cron tasks.

Excellent and useful addition to the Pi. Seems to be working well on my Octopi setup with Pi3B and 7" Touchscreen. Just need to wire a button to it now, so I don't have to grope round the back of the 3D printer...

Ideal for my project. It's used for the Naturewatch Camera project which runs headless and with minimal possibilities for connectivity other than the local wifi connection to manage the camera. Unfortunately this also means no way of shutting down properly - the Naturewatch project just advises to pull the power plug!. So I bought this, copied the shutdown daemon to the SD card and installed it from terminal. Now I can get wildlife pics AND shut down safely
