this Pimoroni PiBow acrylic case is as beautiful as the other cases from that case company. After 2 minutes of thinking you will know how to assemble it. As a surprise, in contrast to older Pimorony cases no printed instruction included and the link leads to some infinite loop, but really, you will not need instruction anyway. Be sure to have your Jessie light configured for WiFi on the SD card before assembling, because the case encloses the card. I think this is good, it makes tampering with the system a bit harder. The GPIO pins are accessible, solder a pin double row before assembly, then you are able to put HAT or cable connector on later. Recommended!

I ordered this fire colored case to match my ocean blue one and was disappointed when it arrived damaged. My packages are shipped form their origin to a location in America and it seems that the top acrylic lay could not survive the journey without cracking. I reported the damages with the Pi Hut's staff and they apologized and quickly dispatched another fire colored zero case. Unfortunately, the second case was damaged in a similar fashion, a crack breaking off one of layer's screw holes preventing a smoother fasten to the other layers. At this point I just ordered my third zero and have outgrown my cases. I hope your shipping goes better than mine.

It's a simple item but is perfect for the purpose for which it is built. It protects very well the PI Zero and it is also nice to see.

As already some said - the SD card cannot be removed, while the case is on. And the top clear layer is pushing on the HDMI Port and so, it's bending a little. The thin clear layer, shown on the photo below the Zero should be on top. But then, the Zero is moving up and down in the case. An additional thin layer or 4 plastic washers should be added to this kit to lift the top clear layer just enough, to avoid that bending. I think, i will use a grater, to remove some of the plastic on top of the HDMI Port, until it fits. Or i add some washers, to keep it beautiful... Glueing the yellow layer to the orange layer will allow to cut the piece, that blocks the SD card.

Nice looking case that is fairly easy to put together, as others suggest put the locking nuts on top for easier access to the pi incase you need to reopen the case for any reason. Also screws weren't particularly easy to get in, holes could be slightly larger but case isn't ill-fitting as some suggest.

A well designed case that protects the Raspberry PI zero while giving easy access to all GPIO pins.
