“I ordered this product with a few other parts for my Project Pilluma.
It is easy to work with, and have the perfect size for a raspberry pi3A+.
You can check the project on my github:

“Very cool pan-tilt mechanism! Fast and strong. I've lashed a Raspberry Pi High Quality camera to it with a mounted 120 fov lens and it works great with the weight. Note that the HQ camera won't fit the mechanism by default, I had to snap off some of the clips and use zipties to attach it. Also note that this combined weight makes the whole unit unbalanced so if it's not weighed down it will topple over.
One minor issue is that the slewing isn't ultra precise - if I return to the same spot twice it won't be exactly aligned. However it's certainly 'good enough' for most project.”
“The Pan-Tilt functionality was quick and easy to get up and running using the companion libraries. But I'm now trying to get the Neopixel output to drive some WS2812 compatible neopixels, which apparently should work; but these seem to flicker semi-random colours rather than going to the correct colour, and looking at forums this seems to be a well-known problem: i.e. that the neopixel driver on the hat is more fussy about the neopixels it drives compared to, say, a standard arduino.”
“Not the first or will be the last thing I buy from the team at Pi Hut. The quality of the product, speed of delivery and the support is superb. I still managed to put the camera in backwards..my fault, .lol”
