“After eventually figuring out how to use it, it was easy to write code to control it which is helping in my project. Good build quality and works as expected, however with USB devices plugged in to the pi there isn't enough power for it to work always. The hat twitches when you turn it on, and this initial movement draws too much power so the pi doesn't boot. And I tried three different good quality power supplies. The fix is to disconnect all power gpio pins (not the ground) and power using a separate usb supply. This can be done by taking the red wire from a usb and putting it into the +5v hole and it from a different power source the ground wire into the GND hole.”
“I plan to use this so that our church organist can see what is happening in most parts of the building. Assembly was easy but I did manage to reverse the connections of the servos to start resulting in no action (A bit more colour coding here would help).”
