“I'm pleased with the Allo DigiOne sound quality installed on a Raspberry Pi 4B powered by an iFi iPower low noise power supply. Using Volumio software to stream locally stored 16bit/44.1 files. Haven't tried any higher quality yet but hope to do so soon. Although I subscribe to Amazon Music HD unfortunately there isn't a plugin for Volumio! Prompt despatch from Pi-Hut.”

What more is there to say?
There are some options with reclocking and fully isolation between PI and digital out. Maybe they make another step up in performance, but they are much more expensive to boot. I might see what I can do with new power supplies for the PI and separate power for the DigiOne, linear power for the DigiOne at least, but I am happy now. Always fun tweaking though, even if it doesn't make a significant difference.”
“Using a Raspbery Pi 3B/4, Volumio (or similar) and the corresponding acrylic case this card makes an excellent, compact streamer (with an external DAC). The card is expensive compared to some other brands but is great quality. Currently often seems out of stock but is worth the wait.”
