This was bought as a gift for my husband who has LOVED it so far. Good variety of components and potential to make the coding more complex if desired. We look forward to seeing any future editions!

My 12 year old absolutely loves this!! It really is perfect for a techy child! He is totally engaged in each day's project - we're only on the 4th box but so far it's fantastic - really well made and packaged. Definitely going to buy the other one next year!

Honestly this is so much better than I had hoped. It's been great fun coaching my son through each of the days so far. He's gone from frustration to elation and it's great seeing him get it working. He's also sick of me saying RTFM

I bought this as an advent calendar for my husband. However it's been brilliant for him and our 4 year old. They've sat down on the weekend and worked at a new project. Recently they made traffic lights. It's an excellent kit.

this is a nice gift for a starter during the holiday season. Even if the gift is for yourself :) into day 3 now looking forward to do the next days. VS code is mentioned somewhere however for beginners stick to thonny and after you did all 12 days you have the succeses then become the ghost of CodeMas past and do it with VS code to see if the flavour matches your own. I am not yet at VS code level

Got one last year for myself, which I enjoyed. Got another this year for the nephew, and they really like it. Good advent calendar for >10 year olds who might have an interest in this kind of work.

I received the calendar as a gift for the Advent season and I am really thrilled. Every day a bit more electronics to play with and try out. The examples are super easy to explain, fun and encourage you to try out more. I recommend it to anyone who wants to take a look behind the scenes of gadgets and is interested in them.
