Brilliant case! I've now replaced all my old cases with these, and my Pi4s are running between 38c-43c, depending on load. Fan is set to 50c 10%, 55c 50%, 60c 100%, and I don't think they've ever been triggered. Highly recommended, and The Pi Hut has never let me down with their rapid delivery.

This case is perfect for my requirements. I'm not an overclocker. I wanted a case that would passively keep my pi4 cool for my home automation project. Even without the fan running, the hottest it gets to is about 40C while running rode-red and PiHole. just remember to remove the protective layers from both sides from the heat conductive pads (supplied) to ensure good thermal conduction of the CPU to the case pedestals. Excellent and well designed product. Top marks to the designers! :-) John

I cant recommencement this case too strongly. You have to rember the PI 4 works harder so creates more heat than older models of the PI. As the top of the case is all metal and the main heat sink the fan has less importance. But if you have over clocked the processor the situation changes so software control of the fan becomes vital. If you dont understand what I am saying you dont need a PI or this case.
