Fantastic piece of kit for one of my PIs. It's working a treat, and I'm looking to get some more.

Needed a RTC for an astronomical project (Raspberry Pi running Allsky software). The timing doesn't need to be accurate, so the PCF8523 is ideal. Arrived quickly and did exactly as advertised. Need to be careful to identify the unit as the 8532 when initialising the software. Excellent product, excellent website and great service delivered in a day!

Worked well and the software set up was fine the only difference is that the enabling of the I2C is found under interfacing option in raspi-config. After I got it working I installed it in the Official Raspberry Pi 3 Case - White/Red and one of the lugs caused the clock board to snap of its mounting. I managed to solder it back on the removed the lug from the case and all fits well now. Nowhere could I see where to mount it but it goes to the other end of the pins furthest from the usb ports facing in with the battery on the top.

Hello, how many months or years could a CR1220 12mm Diameter battery - 3V Lithium Coin Cell Battery last in a raspberry pi?
