“Brilliant. It just works straight out of the box. Using a Windows Explorer box to drag and upload the sound files like it was an external drive is very easy. Bear in mind if you have large files to shrink down to OGG format it is very easy with Audacity, a free audio sound tool. The triggers work with normal push buttons and are debounced. The sound quality is brilliant. Couldn't be happier.”
“Good quality sounding audio. The 3.5mm port feels solid with no noise. Extremely Easy to operate as well.
However it is not getting 5 stars, as it claims its looping latency is 20ms with a wav file, and I'm afraid it is far from that, as there is a very noticeable gap in the loop. I would say greater than 200ms.
A cheap, easy and high quality way to add single triggered sounds to a project, however I wouldn't rely on it for any looping needs.”

Was aimlessly searching for a small Fx board that I could use within a Cosplay costume and didn’t really find anything suitable. Then stumbled across this device. It appeared to have everything I needed and more. Could this be the answer?
I bought it anyway and when it arrived I dusted off my basic soldering skills and assembled it. The overall process was very quick and easy. Then, connected it to my laptop and downloaded some audio clips and boom. I was ready to go.
By far this is the best solution out there for adding sound effects / audio clips to a cosplay project.”
“Received the first board and it was missing the firmware so it was unusable, and the replacement was exactly the same. Not the fault of PiHut, but unfortunately it seems to be a 50/50 chance whether the item will work or not.”
