“Plugged directly into the pi and after running the adafruit config instructions the screen was up and running. changing the font settings on the GUI to small also helped. Installing xscreensaver, then disabling it, stopped the screen sleeping. Good quality screen with reasonable resolution. The addition of the tactile buttons has proved very useful in my hardware projects. For the price, this screen cannot be faulted.”

“the screen came reDy assembled, and as a beginner I cannot see how to get it to work. I tried to download the software from the adafruit site but could not get it to run. I would love to buy, a ready prepared sd card else I shall have go put it in junk box. Adafruit are not very helpful. I think, not suitable for beginner. Peter”
