I followed the setup instructions and within an hour I had it running - including a bluetooth keyboard to connect to the console. I was surprised to see the smoothness of video playback, thinking the SPI would not allow for such frame rate. The connector that passes all GPIOs further on is a great idea. The touch screen worked well too, even without calibration.

Some soldering required but components are placed to make it as easy as possible. Clear instructions to get the display working and I was up and running in minutes. Its a good useable screen and touch input gives the option of basic, simple input without keyboard/mouse.

the screen it's self is brilliant and delivery was swift. The only difficulty was in soldiering the extension pins to the board. Just as long as you have a soldiering iron and a pin you should be okay though!

Bought this to use on a work project and found it so much fun I bought another for home. Using the pygame python support makes it really easy to develop simple touch based GUIs.
