“Originally used it on the ZigBee protocol but shortly replaced that with a ZigBee dongle and switched the ZBT-2 to Thread mode in order to connect to my matter devices, love the flexibility. Also looks nice next to my other home hub tech”
“Works well, found it difficult to work out how to make it work with a border router, and nearly ordered another border router to help with this, but eventually worked out through a youtube tutorial that HA can be the border router. From them on it worked like a treat, although did require some resetting on google play services data to make it forget my old eero, now turned off, thread network.”
