“Easy to setup, just connect leads to the receiver and the antenna, plus a type C power cable. There is a green LED power indicator. I now receive far better signals ADS-B from my inside antenna, soon to be found a home outside.
The unit itself has printed markings on so there are no need for any instructions, quite straight forward really. In a machined aluminium and anodised case.
Also there does not seem to be any heating issues, as the preamplifier stays cool to the touch.”
“I love IT automation...
The inline amp has just been delivered to Portugal (via a good friend), and, when my electrician can install power where it's needed for the Pi and this amp, I will know whether it works...
As this will be several weeks away, automated (and repeated) prompts for 'FoC' reviews are premature at best.
Maybe on another day/month/year...!
And a required star rating, when I don't know yet, means that a 1 star is appropriate.”
“This has almost doubled the number of aircraft I have been able to monitor on a daily bais. I have gone from an average of 250 to around 420, with a few days over 500”
“This came packed nicely in a little brown box. I connected it to the USB DVB-T device for ADSB listening. I am now seeing more planes. So happy with this so far!”
“The construction is great, it looks great and it works really well. My range went from around 50-100 nautical miles to between 150 and 200 nautical miles. It made a huge difference and I would highly recommend this device to anyone wanting to build their own ADS-B monitoring station.”
