“I have used three of these case so far and have just one problem where I use it in a moving location, the case is relatively thick, so the power plug does not go all the way in. As a result if can and does fall out. To be safe use a thin metal case in a mobile application.”
“Nice-looking, well-built case, but assembly has issues. The kit includes two similar film connector strips, though only one is needed. From what I’ve found, the dark v1.3 cable works reliably, while the copper v2 doesn’t. The v2 is also thicker (0.229 mm vs 0.165 mm), making it harder to bend and likely causing connection problems. If they’re going to include both, they should at least add a note in the kit or an explanation on their website.”
“Love it!
Once assembled it's a very solid and professional looking case which keeps the Raspberry Pi well protected and the cover hides the fan. If you want to run with the cover off and watch the fan it works fine - the 2 screws live in their holes in the case.
With the cover on the pi runs coolish, around 50C and the case feels moderately warm, not at all hot. With the rubber feet it's stable on my desk.
I would definitely buy another.”
“Excellent case. Easier to get working than the Argon ONE V3 M.2 NVME Raspberry Pi 5 Case. I actually prefer the NEO because it's smaller and I don't need the full-size HDI ports and GPIO availability for my current use-case. Less to go wrong with the NEO!”
