“Lovely case, well made, comes with one thermal pad for the CPU. Keeps things decently cool for a fanless case, and the case gets pretty hot which shows it's doing its job. The top and bottom side material is a matte plastic which does tend to be a fingerprint magnet, but it's not a big deal. Also very well priced.”
“Nice case, like the others, and keeps the pi5 cool enough in my application, where a fan is not an option. Would be nice if there were a couple of thermal pads in the kit. I forgot the RTC battery, but if still seems to work effectively.”
“Beautiful case. Gets warm as intended but not excessively so. Not for you if you want.regular access to GPIO but excellent for using as a desktop replacement/backup.”
“Lovely little case. Feels very solid but remains light. It gets hot, which is exactly what is expected, as the heat transfer pad bridges between the CPU and the aluminium case, turning it into a passive heatsink. Perhaps not as efficient as a case with a fan but it is noiseless and very tidy.”
“Great compact little case with passive cooling for the Pi 5. Very easy to assemble. I have my Pi 5 running Ubuntu and this case keeps the CPU temperatures in the 60s in normal usage. It would have been good if the heatsink also made contact with the RP1 chip, as it runs about 10C hotter than the CPU, but still within acceptable limits. Loving the "silence".”
“A well made case that is neat in appearance and has no fan, which is what I wanted for use on my CNC. The case gets warm in use but can still be touched without problems, which is fine. There is no access to the 40 pin header which is not a problem for me, as I'm not using it. I've got UGS running on the Pi5 and it works well with my CNC router with this case on the enclosure side.”
