“Having very little experience with zigbee I bit the bullet and got a skyconnect. After having to initially diagnose why it wouldn't work at all I stumbled upon a guide to flashing the firmware via a web browser. I only have the one zigbee device so far (Ikea sound remote) but it seems to work rather well for my purposes. Knocked 1 star off the rating due to it arriving in a non-functional state, I could have returned it I guess but I didn't want to wait any longer to use my remote and a replacement could have had the same issues as the one I received.”

“The moment i connect to my RPI 5 with home assistant it worked with any problem. Even comes with a small extension to place the dongle a bit far from any interference from the RPI that might emit.”

“Great little bit of kit. Installed perfectly in home assistant using ZHA. Couple of minor tweaks required (set device type and USB port) to get it working in zigbee2mqtt but no issue sinces.”

“I bought this for a raspberry pi 4 based home assistant install. Plugged it in and it was immediately recognised. After a quick set up I was able to add lots of ZigBee devices. Easy!”
