“Received on time as expected. Been able to add that to my HomeAssitant running on Proxmox with USB port forwarding. Things do not get more complex than this but worked like a charm irrespective of the fact.”
“I plugged it in and my home assistant green instantly picked it up. I was under the impression that it would work simultaneously with both Zigbee and Thread at the same time, however, when running through the config I was only able to set up one or the other and not both. From reading various articles/Reddit/forums online it turns out you need to flash another firmware to it using the "Silicon Labs Multiprotocol" add-on, I managed to get the Thread Border Router configured but I couldn't get the Zigbee part set up without error, reading more online looks like it was a common issue.
The best resolution for this appears to be... buy 2x sky connects and use 1 for Zigbee and 1 for Thread.
Still going to give this 5 stars because as a Zigbee co-ordinator, it really was just plug and play.”
