Yes, it is only 5V @ 2.4A, but I got this to connect a USB C phone to my home PoE switch which has a UPS to keep it alive during power outages. It is so I can keep a phone charged in a power failure and does that job just fine. The device gets fairly warm to the touch, but that should be no surprise as it is stepping down PoE voltage to just 5V.

Real game changer for me. Combined with a PoE switch I can save a lot of space in the network cabinet with the added bonus of remote power cycling if needed in an emergency.

Used on my home network with PoE and a Pi4. Excellent no issues.

I bought two of these and I am very pleased with them. I had previously bought a PoE Hat for a Pi, but it never worked. It is important to ensure that the PoE injector (power supply) delivers enough current.
