“Bought to connect and keep charged a MIFI. Unfortunately when using the POE to power the unit the ehthernet throughput only manages 2 Mbps throughput both up and down. Even tried on POE++ and still the same low speed. Had high hopes but useless unless you don't mind really low speeds.”
“I've bought two of these in total; the first one lasted 9 months and the second 13.
They work great for a while but don't expect them to be a fit and forget item!
Mine are in use 24/7/365 using about 4.6W of power so well within the 2.4A specs.”
“Works as expected. Usb-C connector isn't the greatest quality.
Note that if the device connected to the usb port can negotiate power that the device doesn't limit the power to the available PoE power but will attempt to supply the whole 2.5A even if this then causes the PoE port to be overloaded and shut down.”
