I order 4 Raspberry Pi, 2 XBMC cards and 2 raspbian cards. The 2 XBMC cards working well but the first raspbian doesn't work, I re-install it. I haven't test the second one.”
“Very disappointed. We cannot get the RP to boot up . Power light is on and all connections in place, OS image installed on card- nothing. Doesn't work with a computer monitor or Smart TV. Annoyed we cannot contact RP by phone to speak directly to someone about this. Trying now by email.”
“This is a delightful piece of hardware, at an affordable price. It is helpful too that the default OS, Raspbian, is a fork of Debian Linux, with which I am reasonably well acquainted. However, there is a fly in the ointment: I purchased this board with the intention of making a small audio recorder, but although I can get decent sound out, using a USB audio interface, I cannot get noise-free audio in. From a review of postings before the board was bought, I thought that the problem was solved, but apparently not. Ah well, perhaps a NAS controller!
