“I bought this to replace an arcade machine I had at home, to save room, and certainly wasn't disappointed, put together in minutes, downloaded Retropie, put on the memory card, started up and done. Controllers are great, all in all a great bundle.

“I think this bundle should include the flirc case (which pihut do sell) as this case is unfit for purpose in cooling, using the supplied case my unit throttles very quickly when running retropie. So I would remove one of the controllers and put in the flirc case, should keep the cost the same. The controllers are ok, not the worst I have seen but dpad is not as good as sony's or original snes dpads.
The built in wifi on the pi3 is 2.4ghz only, where I live 2.4ghz is very cramped and is poor connectivity so 5ghz would have been nice. No spring loaded sdcard slot is also a disappointment but not a major issue. I think the device could have done with a power button, but also not a showstopper. Would have been 4 or 5 stars if flirc case was included.”

“the raspi plays all your 8 and 16 bit retro games, it's small enough to be hidden away so nobody notices it and every cable needed is included. Get your roms and start playing. the supplied joypads are of lesser quality (compared to a genuine snes controller), but function well, and you can use about any controller you want. ofcourse using the supplied controllers makes it feel a bit more authentic.”
