“This is a very convenient case for housing your RPi cluster. In my case I'm using this to house a 6 node k3s cluster.
The reason for 4 stars is because the fans don't last long at all. One has died roughly 1 month after the purchase date.”
“Good product, easy to assemble. The only thing I don't like much is the fans are a little bit noisy. I don't know if there is a way to connect power to other pin to reduce speed and thus noise. Obviously I could try to find a place at home to put the cluster so that it does not disturbs. For the rest it is correct, as I said. It has also place for a 5 port tp-link switch and a Ravpower charger with 6 ports. Happy with the purchase.”
“Sadly, it turns out this cluster case looks great but in practice, it is useless for my use case where I use some HATs install on GPIO and it causes too many problems.
While maybe I waste money ... I think it can be useful for most people.
I wish this case not include fans as I found them not as good as Noctua one.”
“I got the product to trial running a kubernetes cluster on Raspberry Pis for my team at https://eden.agency/. The build is cracking and looks great. I used an 8 port netgear GS108 as the router inside the unit which can't be pushed all the way back due to the power supply on the Raspberry Pi 4b without putting undue pressure on the cable so it might be better to look for a shallower router.
I used 0.2m patch cables to reduce clutter and it looks amazing too.”
