Perhaps a coincidence, a few weeks after fitting this, my pi 4 2gg, malfunctioned, while Cu heat capacity is 0.385 and Al 0.9 the Cu density is 8.9 and the Al 2.73, this means it holds more heat, with the dissipation dependant on surface area and temperature difference only, it could be a wrong decision to go for Cu over Al when selecting a heat sink. happy ending is I just picked up a replacement 2018 pi 4 2gb from Cex for a good price.

Cheap and seem to do a better job than the thinner aluminium heatsinks. Perfect fit for Pi 4

Helps reduce CPU temperature rise rate when under heavy load, but doesn't provide any active cooling.

The self-adhesive feature makes the heatsink incredibly simple to attach, eliminating the need for additional thermal paste or complicated mounting procedures. This is a significant advantage for users who may not be comfortable with intricate hardware installations. The copper material also adds a touch of durability and quality to the heatsink. In terms of functionality, the heatsink proved to be highly effective in dissipating heat generated by the Raspberry Pi. After extended periods of use, especially during resource-intensive tasks, I noticed a noticeable temperature reduction, contributing to overall system stability. This is particularly crucial for those who engage in activities such as gaming or running resource-demanding applications on their Raspberry Pi. The compact size of the heatsink ensures that it doesn't interfere with other components or peripherals connected to the Raspberry Pi, making it an unobtrusive addition to the setup. The low-profile design is especially appreciated for those using cases or enclosures with limited space.

Temps used to be 70 - 80 degrees now it's down to 50. No more throttling.
