Getting much more positions reported and traffic levels have also gone up.
I'm using a home brew antenna which is loft mounted and still getting good performance. I'm sure if I was to go for a proper external antenna I would be getting full range. It is a big improvement over the previous dongle.

“Great little dongle and good value . Get an external antenna as high as you can, some decent lowloss coax (LBC240 or messi and paoloni ultraflex 7/10) and don't forget good sma /n connector too.
This dongle will surprise you it has a built in filter which really makes a difference in comparison to a normal barebones sdr .
