I had two Pro sticks and one failed me after 3 years so I decided to replace both sticks with the Pro Stick Plus but both do not give me the range of the old orange Pro Sticks. My receiving range is 25ml to 50ml down using the Pro Stick Pro. I have now changed over to the AirNav RadarBox FlightStick . Pro Stick Pro gave me approx 180-200 ml Pro Stick 200-230 and with the AirNav RadarBox FlightStick I get hits over 250ml.

much better than a normal rtl sdr stick, see screenshot and it was the same antenna. My values have risen extremely. It was an extremely good purchase. Now I'm buying a better antenna

Works very well with my Pi Zero and even though it is not the cheapest option, it does work really well.

Much better signal and much clearer reception (due to its dedicated filter) than my old RTL-SDR R820T2 DVB dongle. And polar range is improved by extra 50nm (for aircraft flying over 26,000 feet).

Having been looking for a project for a spare raspberry Pi 2, I read up about FlightRadar24 and the ease of making a DIY "quick spider" antenna to try out flight tracking at minimal cost. The flightaware stick is reasonably priced and, in conjunction with my DIY antenna, enables me to pick up planes from 200 nautical miles away, despite the antenna currently residing in our loft. Recommended.
