“Maybe I missed something but having assembled the kit following the great instructions in the accompanying MagPI essentials book I was very disappointed to find on page 49 that the Cloud Speech API is not available to use with the Voice Kit in the EU. And even if it was you have to have billing set up with Google. Fortunately thanks to the Pi community this is not a dead end. But hey it was disappointing.”
