“Just started with it. The documentation is not completely up-to-date: I had a different button. Took me a while to attach that.
I had some trouble connecting with the raspberry pi by means of VNC. Eventually I installed Xtightvncserver and I could connect from my PC to the raspberry.”
“My kit got put together okay right up to the arcade button. I received a three piece thing rather than the one shown in the instructions. I never was able to get the top piece situated correctly, so I gave up and just use it without the button.”
“The Google AIY Voice Kit is a great playground. I was surprised to see how much even the HAT is extendable for different projects.
Works fine as it is and will find it's way into another project (Smart Mirror) very soon.”

A great intro to Google Assistant , but there needs to be more clear info on how to use it, and its limitations
It may be marketed as an educational tool but in EU you have to register as a Business user to gain access to the Google Cloud Platform
The software setup is far from straightforward.
The functionality is limited on this platform, eg email is not an option at the moment which is a big drawback. I'm sure these are teething issues and it will become a great RaspPi ally”
