“Disappointing performance from this regulator. I powered a Raspberry PI 3 from a 12.5V input using this. Unfortunately the regulator output measured 5.3V with a good quality Fluke multimeter. This is outside the specification of the PI or indeed most 5v powered electronics. Looking at the device's datasheet the output is set using resistors. It seems that poor tolerance of these components has led to a poor quality product. The load regulation was found to be very good.”
