“Does the job, and its quite clear which is which. Impact on temperatures is great however just think that the main CPU could be a little bit larger and it would improve the cooling a little better, there is still throttling after some time stress testing.”
“They do make a difference, but not as much as I thought they would. A bit of a pain getting the film over the adhesive covering off if you bite your nails! I should have gone for something a bit bigger or another one of the aluminium cases that acts as a huge heatsink. I was only getting 5-6c lower with them than without and inside the official plastic case, things start to get too warm on my 4GB Pi running PiHole, PiVPN and adsbexchange... I will definitely be changing them before summer. My 2GB Pi runs at 38c with metal case, the 4GB one at 51c with plastic case, so that needs looking at.”
